At Hallmark Hardwoods, we have a department of 120 employees who are dedicated to the true hand-scraped look that we craft into each and every board in our three hand-scraped collections. We take no shortcuts by using electric planers, rotary sanders, or sanding sleds when we texture the surface of our boards. Many products on the market are represented as hand scraped but are actually machine scraped. Using a machine produces a monotonous, inferior visual that is easy to spot. At Hallmark Hardwoods, we produce authentic hand-scraped boards of exceptional beauty. Each board is individually worked on by master craftsmen using hand scrapers, hand planes, and chisels.
